2014.05.16 Grilled Yellow Croaker(jogi gui)

Grilled Yellow Croaker is a Korean traditional fish dish.
Korean name is Jogi Gui. Jogi means yellow croaker. Gui means Grilled cook.

The Yellow Croaks are good for digesting, the funtion of kidney and helping to inspirit our body.

I would like to show you How to cook Jogi Gui with the pictures.

1. Salt yellow croak for 2~4 hours.
After that, wash the salt and dry the water on the fish.
(square type fish is hairtail)

2. heat up the frying fan and oil the frying fan.

3. put the yellow croaks on the frying fan.

4. cover the newspaper on the frying fan
to prevent the oil splashing.

5. the bottom of the fish turn to yellow, turn fish.

6. it is done, serve on the plate.

7. rest of the fishes leave on the fan.

8. There are many oils on the covering newspaper.

9. It is very taste good, especially when you eat it with the white rice. 

10. Koreans use the spoon to eat the rice.
