Surasang(Korean King's meal)(Royal meals, the Royal Table)

I'd like to write about the Korean King's meals.

 The King had 4 meals a day. Among the 4 meals, the breakfast and the dinner called Surasang.

Surasang means the Royal Table.

This is the picture of Surasang.

There are 4 tables for the meals.

On the left table, there is a brazier for making jeongol(stew)  

There are 5 dishes in the secondary table.

Those are the vegetable,eggs,beefs and the sauces.

 On the main table, there are 25 dishes. It looks colorful and appetizing.

On the right table, there are other stews, the rice with red-bean and the empty dishes.

You can see these King's meals tables in real in National Palace Museum of Korea. You can check the information about that.

I donated an acoustic guitar.

I donated an acoustic guitar.

I cleaned up the acoustic guitar and the guitar bag.

I prepared the extra string set and the picks that have each other sizes.

I put the picks into plastic bags.

I put the guitar, picks and string set into the bag. 

I donated an acoustic guitar to the social enterprise called 'Beautiful Store'(Arumdaun Gage). It is similar to 'Oxfam International'. 

 It is a donation receipt.

On my way back I went to the library. I burrowed the 3 books.

On my way back, I went to Han river, too. It was a rainy day.

My pet cat(Korean pet cat)

He is my pet cat. He likes to lie on the chair.

He looks fat like Garfield.^^

Sometimes he lie on the computer desk.

He is cute.

He climbs on the door himself like spider cat on You-Tube.

He tries to be seen sensual.

He sleeps carelessly.

(Korean dishes) Jajang-Bap

I cooked Jajang-Bap this morning.

Jajang-myeon is more popular food in Korea.

Jajang-myeon means Jajang sauce with the noodles.

Jajang-bap is Jajang sauce with the rice(bap)

I bought the Jajang powder at the market.

It is 100gram product. 

It is for serving 4 people.

There is a recipe of Jajang sauce on the back of the product.

I am sorry the photo is reverse.

I used 2 onions.

This is ground pork.

 I peeled a purple color onion.

I chopped the onions.

It is a carrot.

I chopped the carrot.

It is a broccoli.

I chopped the brocolli.

It is saesongi mushrooms.

I chopped saesongi mushrooms.

Oil the frying fan.

Put the chopped vegetables into the fan.

Put the half spoon of ground garlic.

Put the half spoon of ground garlic.

Put the ground pork.

 Stir-fry the vegetables and the porks.

This is a video of me stir-frying and boiled Jajang sauce.

Prepare 700ml water.

Put water to the fan.

I put more water.

There are proper amount of water.

Boil it till the ingredients are well done.

After the ingredients are well done,

put the Jajang powder and stir it.

I posted stirring video on the upper You-Tube video.

Prepare the rice.

Put the Jajang sauce on the rice.

It really tastes good.^^

Try it!

Jajang bap and the sesame salad.

I will post the sesame salad next.

The extra Jajang sauce will be stored in the freezer.

Put Jajang sauce in the plastic bag and freeze it.

If you tired to cook meal,

 just take out the frozen Jajang sauce,

melt and heat it,

and eat it with rice.

(Korean book)the children of Moret-mal.

I read a book.
The title is 'the children of Moretmal'

Moretmal means the town of the sand in Korean.

The writer is Hwang Seok-Young.

He is famous for his bit hit book "Jang Gil San"

This book talks about the situation after Korean war(1950-1953)

At that time, Korea was one of the poorest country of the world.

There were many sad stories like separating from the people they love.

I read this mini book.

It is smaller than the hand.

There are some illustrations, too.

It is a tiny cute book.
